Birthday celebrants.

This time of the year I know a lot of people who celebrates their birthdays starting off December 31st until 31st of January. My hubby and I always thought that our holiday had just started.

First, the 31st of December is my hubby’s birthday and we celebrated it together in our home and on the weekend his parent drove down here to celebrate it with us as well and they treated us to Red Robin and the Red Robin staffs also makes it more special by singing to him and treating him some sweets.

Then January 6th it’s my father-in-law’s birthday and we celebrated it in his mom’s house in Stilwell, OK and one of his sisters was there along with her hubby and me and my hubby. We have a good lunch provided by his mom.

13th of January is the 80th birthday celebration of my hubby’s grandma on his father side though it should be on the 15th but the kids just decided to hold it on Sunday it would be possible for every kids, grandkids, great grandkids to be present and friends to be present and we have a great time visiting with the family too which we hardly see any of them.

On the 23rd it’s one of my Filipino nurse friend’s birthday which I wasn’t able to make it cause I’m off late from work and I don’t normally hang out late during weekdays though we talked about it when he called me and invited me to eat at the buffet with the rest of the nurses which I hate to do but sometimes we have to know to say no sometimes hehehe.

And before the month ends my mother-in-law is celebrating her birthday today as well which we are hoping that we could be there this weekend to celebrate it with her which we all planned to do cause me and Matt were just tired of running around and bless her heart she said that we can celebrate it the weekend after her birthday instead of earlier or even today which is not feasible cause me and my hubby are both working which hopefully the weather will cooperate too cause it’s snowing right now.

And last but not the least of course one of my co-worker Whitney is celebrating her 22nd birthday too, which I bought some lunch the other day and brought some petit fours cake with her name written on it which she appreciated it too which I’m happy to treat her cause we are just the two person that work together in a room and pretty much knew each other than anybody in the building.

As well one of the Filipina nurse that I know around the area there son is also celebrating his First Birthday as well, which we didn't go cause I get out from work late and today the weather is bad too...

Walking in Memphis....

Last weekend me and my friend talk over the phone and talked about driving down there in their place in Collierville, TN for the Martin Luther King Jr. 3 days weekend and so I asked my hubby if he is willing to drive down there and visit Justin and Tessa there and of course he is as well excited cause he gets along very well with Justin which is not new cause they also met last year on my birthday weekend. Though at one point we might not be able to visit them cause there was an emergency there dog is acting weird after his surgery, which I won’t blame him but later after the day they find out that the medicine kicks in, so off we go.

So we drove down there early Saturday morning and arrived around lunch time, and of course I am excited for lunch cause Tessa prepare some Kare-Kare and Lamb and we have a good lunch and before heading out they had a taste of videoke which is Tessa been wanting to do and then we prepare ourselves to go out and see the area.

First stop at FedEx Headquarter cause that is where Justin works and always trying to convince me and especially Matt to move down there, we always tease him that he is the hiring manager of the company which isn’t hehe…Then the best part the boys dropped the girls to Burlington Coat Factory for a little shopping to try there shopping center out there and of course I got coats, clothes, a pair of shoes and a bag hmp a new outfit huh…And we finish our day with a hearty dinner at a Chinese Buffet which they are a regular and they really took care of us mind you they cook more food just for us…

Then on Sunday we go to FedEx Forum to take a glimpse on there arena which is a popular spot and on a popular street the Beale Street, then we went to one of the popular hotel the Peabody Hotel which they are popular for there well-trained ducks which we miss huhu but still we have a good time and though we still lots of things on our lists but it’s the playoff day so we have to hurry home cause my hubby doesn’t wanna miss a thing on it and unfortunately we are stuck in a traffic cause there was a wreck and so my hubby was just contented on listening to the radio but of course he was able to watch it on tv not bad though then me and Tessa was having fun singing in the videoke and chitchatting.

And we drove back home around noon and hoping that we would be back by 6 or 7 pm but there was a bad weather going back home like an hour away from home we were stuck in the traffic till past 12 in the morning grrr that was the bad part of the vacation but still it was an experienced that me and hubby can’t forget I told him while we were sitting in the car waiting for the traffic to move that this just test our marriage.hehhe….

Here are some photos....Enjoy!!!
