Around Lake Fayetteville with friends

Today we went with friends and their kids that's not in school around Lake Fayetteville trail which is 5.5 miles long.  

Sara along with Tariq and Amira, and Amy along with Norah and Ashton push the strollers while Quentin ride the bike while I run or walk beside him to catch up.

At the playground some of our preschool friends were there and Quentin had fun riding the bike again with Grady.

We got invited today to an only girl house party hosted by my friend Sara at her house up in Bentonville and we got to ride with Amy and her girls.  I took Beatrice with me and at first she doesn't like to watch the video but later she is glued.   She got to have her nails done, played on the trampoline and decorated some cupcake and ate it too.  While the boys went to the park so Quentin can ride his bike.

The school has $1 book sale for the first week of school.  Today I gave Beatrice $5 to spend on a book during her library time and she was so kind and thoughtful to buy a book for her brother, thinking that he would love it and indeed Quentin was pumped to have a book from Manang.  She always thinks about her brother well-being that it makes my heart swell.

A week ago my friend Jessie invited us over to their house for a swim with other friends and yet the weather turns cold and not ideal for swimming so we decided to go to Amazeum since she hasn't been there and Quentin love it there as well.  At Hershey's lab they did some experiment on which icebreaker mints makes fizzies.

It's nice to have kids help around the house, just like this Beatrice is folding the rugs neatly.

First day of 1st grade

Quentin and I dropped Beatrice for her 1st day of school since she requested it.  The previous night our church let our school kids make some cupcake to give to their teacher and Quentin wants to carry it and give it himself to Mrs. Emerson.  And as soon as she enter her room the teacher has a book for each kid to read.

Last Hurrah for Summer 2015 part 5 Swimming with friends at Springdale Aquatic Center

Today we get to go swim with our friends at Springdale Aquatic Center it's a little bit on a cold side so we didn't get to stay that long and seems like all the kids decided they are done at once.  Indeed it was fun to visit with friends and their kids before school starts.

Math fact and My Little Pony Rarity

Over this summer Carie Beth introduced me to xtramath.org which teaches kids some math fact, you put in your kids grade level and the computer generates some math fact problem base on their grade level and the problem gets harder and harder as the kids progresses.  So I introduced it to Beatrice around May of this year but when she realized it was timed she was get anxious and doesn't want to do it that she cried and so I stopped.

Again when Carie Beth posted in facebook about math fact challenge before the school starts it coincides when Beatrice came with me to Barnes and Noble to purchase some beanie boo for a gift to Amanda, she saw a stuff animal My Little Pony and wanted one, so I use it as her motivator, and now she is getting the hang of it and learn to use the 10-key in the keyboard instead of the mouse when entering the numbers.
