Working hard on the nursery room

Yesterday night my husband and I do some more work on the nursery room since we got the border shipped in yesterday at my hubby's office.

I helped him putting up the border, cleaning the room and then he set up the crib and I put the beddings even I haven't washed them so we could just see what it looked like.

And here are some pictures that I take in between work.

Nursery in the making...

After we got back in town after a weekend spent with my hubby's friend for the Super Bowl in Shawnee, OK, I’m ready for a restful day and prepare for the next day’s work.

But on Tuesday the 3rd of February 2009, while I’m at the office
My hubby was so ambitious enough preparing the nursery to be painted on that day, and at first he was unsure if the color turns out good but after he painted, we are happy with the result.

And right now we are just waiting for some other items to be shipped like borders, some valances that I like other than the one that was included with the beddings we ordered, some pictures frames, and wall clock (but as I asked my hubby what else he ordered for the room and surprises me that most of it was already here). But now we are just waiting for the border, so we can set up the crib and try out the beddings and see what it look like and I can’t wait for things to come along.

Here are some pictures when hubby was painting the room.

Cleaning after Ice Storm

Today my hubby was busy cleaning our front and backyard after the ice storm. He's been cutting tree limbs for a couple of days now (bless his heart).

At first he wants to purchase his own chainsaw but to no avail though he hates borrowing things from other people his mom end up loaning there chainsaw to him. And just after an hour or two of cutting tree limbs the chain loosen and he just feel so bad and I feel bad too cause i was the one telling him just to go ahead borrow chainsaw from his parents and luckily he was able to fix the chainsaw and now back to cutting tree limbs again and piling them in our front yard.

Thanks heaven for having hubby like him.

We are having a Baby Girl

I've been so behind updating about my pregnancy. I just have so many things on my plate, that most of the time it's overwhelming which things needs to be done first and most of the time my brain is drain after a long day at work.

Anyway, last 31st of December as some of you knew that I'm going to have my scheduled utlrasound to check the baby's well-being and the gender but to no avail the baby at that time didn't cooperate, she had her legs crossed at first we think maybe the baby was just a prim and proper little girl or a stubborn little boy. After trying to jiggle and pushing my tummy so the baby will move but still we didn't get to see what we needed to see at that time, so after seeing the doctor that day she decided that I can come back after a week and try it again.

We came back to the clinic on the 8th of January and to our surprise the baby did cooperate and we find out that we are going to have a girl.

Here are some ultrasound pictures of our baby girl...
