Botanical Garden

We hardly visit the Botanical garden beca use we didn't buy any membership.  During summer they have Tuesday night free event in the evening we try to go because the kids love to play.

Last week we went to their free event which they talked about gardening and so the kids knew a lot about how to attract butterflies because they got to visit some ladies at the butterfly garden.

And the rest of the time they run and around and play.

Splash pad time

Springdale got a new splash pad park, we went to check it out with friends today.  Since Quentin isn't really fond of getting wet he played at the playground for the most part until I convinced him to go with Manang, then he did fine and had a good time but he told me he still like not getting wet afterwards.

THE BOXCAR CHILDREN

The summer before Beatrice enters 1st grade she's been reading some of Boxcar book series. 

Quentin and I frequent the public library, he always look for some boxcar book to take home for Beatrice to read and she would take an AR test at school after she's done reading.

Today we got an opportunity to watch a play about the boxcar children that was locally produce by Arts Live Theater.

Rodeo of the Ozarks 2016

My kids got a free ticket from Beatrice's school so I decided to go ahead take them since Quentin is really into horse, so he was in horse heaven seeing that many horse in one place.

I left Hazel with Matt since I don't know what to expect from the Rodeo show.  It's everyone's first time to watch the Rodeo and we enjoyed it and since it rained the other night it wasn't dusty and there's a cool breeze so it was great experience for the 3 of us.

I lay Hazel(5 weeks old) to sleep for a nap then when I turned around Manoy fell asleep beside her and I thought they look so peaceful and it is so sweet seeing them sleep side by side.

Playing at the creek again

The last time we went to Wilson park the kids had fun playing at the creek and so we went back and invite some more friends and it's still a winner both my kids enjoyed it as much as they did the first time they ventured out.

Friends at Play

Today we went to Wilson park to play with friends.  After the kids played for awhile in the playground equipment, Malachi played at the creek that enticed everyone to go down and play.  It was Quentin who went down last and wanted to just walked around the dry area of the creek but it was too cumbersome and decided it wasn't so bad to get wet and turned out he had fun and even hiked all the way to the falls.
