Spring break Day 2 Bathhouse row and Aquarium

Second Day in Hot Springs, we ventured out by walking from our hotel to the Bathhouse rows which is about half mile to a mile and soaked in the history which is Ms. Amy's favorite part.

When we got to the end of the bathhouse row we saw the National Park Aquarium which we planned on going on our 3rd day since we are in the area we went ahead and check it out.

One funny incident with Quentin while we were at the Aquarium.  Both of my kids saved their allowance so they could spend it however they like it while on vacation.  Quentin like to buy this car that cost around $8 and he just have $10 left to spend but he insisted on buying it and when I gave him his change which is $1 and some coins he wasn't happy, he said mommy I thought that lady(pointing to the cashier) is giving away money and I told him if you have a change she will and he wasn't still understanding.  While going around the aquarium he is still upset about the money while still wanting to keep the car and I told him he can buy a hotwheel car at Target for a $1, he said mommy can I look at the car for the last time and he really take a good look at it and said mommy can I return this so I can get my money back and we did and he was happy and after that he is quick to think on the cost of an item before buying it.

We planned on eating at the hotel with the food we brought but everyone was getting hungry that one by one they are throwing a fit and complained about the walk.  Good thing we were able to find a decent place to eat and everyone got their energy back and then we head back to the hotel and dip in the pool again and while enjoying the drink from the happy hour and some snacks.

Very adventurous kids
Malachi is at the top while Beatrice is making her up.

There is Beatrice on top of the big rock, I was scared she'd fall off and there's no way I can catch her since I'm very pregnant at this time.
And so I didn't let Quentin go all the up and that's why he got that somber look.

We always end our day in the swimming pool this time Beatrice got to play football with other kids in the pool.

Spring break Day 1 Alligator Farm

Since Matt had an extensive travelling through work even during Spring break so I planned to take the kids to Tulsa which isn't far from where we live especially if I'm taking them by myself and I'm heavily pregnant.  But it turned out that Matt's trip to Nashville was cancelled but still need to work since most of his co-worker will be gone, but was OK with the idea that I will take the kids for a Spring break vacation.  So I talked about it to Amy one day while driving her to the hospital where Austin had a foot surgery and she was like how about Hot Springs, I haven't been there?  And I was like I've been there but it was 10 years ago so that day I made a hotel reservation and the wait was over.

So my kids and I got the privilege to spend Spring break with the Brown Family at Hot Springs, AR for 3 days and 4 nights.  We stayed at Embassy suites from March 21st and checking out March 24 at a discounted rate since I'm employed with Hilton.  And also the hotel offer free breakfast and happy hour in the evening, we packed foods to eat for lunch and for snacks.

We left Fayetteville Monday morning after our WOW exercise, but we have to make a quick trip home since Beatrice forget her bunny then met Ms. Amy at the Starbucks parking lot and then we are on our way.

I was following behind Amy since we drove separately.  We make a couple of stop first at a gas station in Fort Smith to use the bathroom then at a Subway to grab some lunch and we got to check-in early.

Since we check-in early we have ample of time to visit one attraction on our list.  The hotel offer free shuttle so we took advantage of it and had them bring us to the Alligator Farm.  The kids got to pet and feed some animals and hold an alligator.  Beatrice love holding the alligator while Quentin is happy just petting it.

Taking the shuttle going to the Alligator Farm...L-R Ms. Amy, Olivia, Quentin, Malachi and Norah which is partly hidden by the seat.

Vote for Partiness!

Today I went to the precinct to cast my vote(This is was for Primary) for the first time by myself and of course I have to take Quentin with me which we head to Preschool afterwards.

Quentin asked me about how to vote and who to vote and what not.  I told him you have to choose between Democrat, Republican and Partisan.  And he was like I vote for Partiness with such enthusiasm.

Putting Lego Together with Quentin

Last night Quentin and I stayed up late putting a Lego together which we started earlier in the day and we didn't finish until close to 10 in the evening but it was worth it.

You can tell with the look on his eyes he is sleepy and is up past his bedtime.

Voila!!!
