Digging Dinosaur bones

Quentin got a Dino Dig kit from his Aunt Sarah, Uncle Joe and the girls.

During memorial day we stayed home since it was raining outside. Beatrice decided she wants to dig it and Quentin was happy to have her sister started it and in between they do different stuff and later that day I joined them and decided we will do it at the front porch and I helped them finish it up and put the bones together.

Beatrice last day of 1st grade

Beatrice had another wonderful year at John Tyson Elementary under Mrs. Emerson.  And I got the opportunity to help her teacher with the folder putting the children's work and announcement in it, as well as escorting them to a field trip.
By the 1st of October she's done with her 1,000 sight words.
Tuesday and Wednesday are her two favorite school days because she love the after school program(1st scrapbooking & 2nd is gardening) and her art class.
She's been in 2 after school club: scrapbooking and gardening which she both loved.
Her art teacher chose one of her artwork as an entry in PTA Reflection contest.
Beatrice's Math improves throughout the school year as well as her Reading level which she can read at AR level 5 while 2.8 is reflected on her report card because after that they need to learn to write about the book.
Been to a lot of field trips and I got the opportunity to join them except for the last 2 field trips since I'm close to my delivery and then the last one I just had a newborn.  She's been to Amazeum, watch a play at Walton Arts Center, went to the Rodeo at the Ozark and visited Springdale Public Library.
Also she got to experience riding the school bus for a month because I'm having a newborn 2 weeks before the school ends.

Quentin poses with Hazel

Quentin adores his little sister so much that he showers her with tons of kisses, pats, hugs and loving words.

He also loves to have picture taken with Hazel so during a downtime I took some while they were both laying in the bed quietly.

Quentin loves to have a bedtime story

Quentin is my child who got lots of energy more than anyone in the family and most of the time we can't keep up with it.  However when we read to him he would really pay attention and we are guarantee that he would sit still until we finish reading, you can see from this picture how engrossed he really is to the story.

And Now We Are 5

We went home today with Hazel from the hospital.  And everyone were excited to hold her and love on her, during our bedtime routine both kids take turn on holding her.

This is the beginning of us being a family of five and we are over the moon with Hazel.

Manang loved to hold Hazel.
And now they are 3!
Manoy Quentin also wanted to get a turn loving on Hazel.
They are really listening intently when daddy read to them.
And now we are 5!  Tried my best to be in the picture.

The Value of Sharing

This is the last night that Beatrice and Quentin will have their daddy to themselves because tomorrow there will be a new addition to the family and everyone is excited to meet her.

And what a coincidence that they are listening to a story titled the value of sharing from The Valuetales series.

Beatrice celebrates 7 years

We celebrated Beatrice's 7th birthday yesterday the 7th of May because I will have a week old newborn when her birthday rolls around.  And also I'm not in the mood to do big parties because I hardly have energy to put things together.  Since her lola urges us to celebrate it, we celebrated it at the Lokomotion and invited 2 of her friends from her school Serrilyn and Melanie and only the latter showed up and they still both had a blast playing mini golf.

Quentin here playing Deal or No Deal while daddy watched.

Beatrice is such a great hostess cutting the cake by herself.
