4th of July Fireworks with the Landons

I had the great opportunity to watch fireworks and photography it along with my hubby, we went to my friend/officemate to her folks place.

I’m elated with the result I got as a first timer, so here's one of many pictures I took that night and you can visit my
flickr for more.

Lilypad for Whitney

I had a fun day just an hour ago during the 4th of July, I went to one of my Filipino friends place ate and visit real quick cause I have to leave quickly cause I have to go to my officemate/friend’s hometown just 20 minutes or so outside where we work because she invited us for the 4th.

Upon arriving there, her family is just so warm to me and to my hubby, Whitney introduces me to her family and relatives that was there for the occasion then ate supper and roam around there place, I’m telling you it was nice out there with fresh air, nice scenery not until she drove me around with there 4 wheeler drive and it just blew me away it was more awesome and I’m telling you I can live there, I even told her that if her mom and dad would adopt me and my hubby to live there.

And this flower we saw it in a pond around the area and she introduce it to me, and I just have all the time to take pictures of all the flora and fauna around the area and I’m telling you there are a lots and lots of nice scenery to be a good subject out there. And we got the chance to watch the sunset and that was my first sunset as in seeing it vanish right infront of me with a good company.

So this flower is in appreciation to her for inviting me and Matt for the 4th of July to celebrate it with her and her family, and she is one of the nicest person I work with at the bank and the longest person I hang out with during the weekdays other than my hubby cause we work in one room just the two of us, until the night person came in around 4 or 5 in the afternoon, so just imagine how long we have to be in torment with each other hehe but working with her is easy and she has tons of patience with me cause she said I’m a butthead and I think too that she is the beavis.

Whitney, again thank you for having us during the 4th, and I do have the great time in my life taking pictures for that event.

Reminiscing the love story

I got this tag from Ate Joy. Her blog is one of my favorites. I don't usually do stuff like this but the questions on this one is nice and sweet. So I decided to go along with it.

Are you deeply in love with your spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend? If you do, let’s try how well you remember the moment of your life with him.

1. How did you meet your husband?
I met Matt through an online dating in a chatroom called Cherryblossoms way back November 2002.

2. Where did you go on your first date?
We never do date physically, but I can consider that the first time we had a date when we both see each other on the webcam for the first time and it was February 14, 2003.

3. When was your first intimate kiss?
I can hardly remember cause Matt is so conservative that he doesn’t want to engage in any intimate act and that he wants to wait until we got married which is so sweet of him.

4. How many girlfriends did he have in the past? Do you honestly know?
He just had one girlfriend and that’s ME, how lucky am I being the only woman to be his girlfriend in his life???

5. What is his ethnicity?
He’s an American.

6. What is his favorite food?
Green beans, mashed potato and Pork Chops until I cooked Pork Chops almost everyday so he had to ask me to stop cooking it for a while.

7. What is he like if he is mad?
He just wants to be left alone.

8. What are the things he did you thought is the most romantic thing he’d ever done?
He is more than any romantic guy but I would say he is really a thoughtful guy because he will do anything just to make me happy.

9. Describe how he proposed to you.
He proposes to me after 2 days of my birthday which he purposely visits me on that day. My younger sister whom I lived with in the same apartment came running down from the stairs and talk to me in bisaya so Matt wouldn't know what she is trying to say and told me that Matt is ready and willing to marry me and Matt asked if we could go to my older sister so he can visit with. After my older sister and Matt talked outside, my sister came back inside and told me that it would be a good idea if I bring Matt to the crocodile park which is close by but I refuse to cause I'm afriad that he will propose to me knowing that my younger sister to me so that he is willing to marry me, so we end up going all together but I think he didn't find it romantic to do it there so we got back home and he asked my niece to bring the ring to me which was put into his luggage ID but when I got it I didn't see the ring until my two sister wants to see what my niece's just brought to me and I think they saw the ring and gave it back to niece so she can gave it back to me and by that time my two sisters told me that there is a ring in the luggage tag and I caught by surprise and he kneel down and ask me, Would you be my wife? Would you marry me? I feel like crying but my two sister end up teasing me that there boying sister is getting married ahead of them and that my older sister ask me that she will marry first before I do.

10. When did you know he was the ONE?
When I saw in him all the qualities in a guy that I want to be with for the rest of my life and that he is not the same with other guys I chatted online that would forbid me of bringing a friend or chaperone when meeting them for the first time and he even encourages me to bring someone along and that he is one in a gazillion. And I do really pray a lot for a guy to come into my life and the prayer is answered more than what I asked for.

I'm passing this tag to all the married ladies out there who read my blog...

Rachel Lauren Redman

She's one of my hubby's nieces which lives in Tulsa, OK and had a baby sister name Bethany. We got to see them every time we visit hubby’s hometown and I always had fun playing with her especially hide-and-seek and she always told me "Tita May you played tricky", bless her heart she always had hard time looking for me.

And you better not tell a lie, one time I was pulling my hubby's leg and she thought I was lying she rebuke me by telling me "Tita May God knows you lied", isn't it scary???
