Hiking in Devil's Den State Park
Tuesday and it was raining outside *sigh* I would love to bundle and cuddle up with hubby but we are dead serious of hiking and camping out so we get ourselves together and get ready and head out of town. We went to Devil’s Den State Park and planned to hike Butterfield Hiking Trail which is 14-15 miles hike and of course I am up to the challenger and off we go.
When we are in the park premises and did everything from checking in and getting our backpack we got our first challenge we were lost because we can’t find the trailhead duh so we go round and round to look for it and at last we managed to find it after many inquiries with the people in the park which most of them doesn’t have a clue either duh. So we hike and hike then we got into another trouble again we had to cross a creek which is swift and of course we would love to take the challenge but we opted not too cause it would be more dangerous especially one of my co-workers bro-in-law die just 3 weeks ago because we was swept off and while we are discussing if we are to cross or not it was thundering and I think it is going to have a heavy downpour so we opted not and just plan to head straight and look for a place to pitch the tent and by the time we are putting out our tent it heavily rained on us duh and by the time the tent is done we are all soaking wet. My hubby was so restless that he had to ask me if I am okay to stay the night in the woods and I said I am up to it cause I would love to experience it and I feel sorry for him but I think we both agree it would be more safer that we stay in the tent than hike out and it would be dark soon.
When a slight ray of light beamed in our tent my hubby was relieved that we can go out and hike back to our car and drive back home cause I knew he didn’t have a good sleep knowing that there are tons of noise around us but with me I had a good night rest. But the experience were worthwhile and hoping we can really hike the entire miles but during the dry season.

Filipino Camarederie
As far as my memory goes I attended Zachary’s 2nd Birthday that was held in Jones Center for Family and there are tons of food and I have a good time with my friends minus my hubby cause he doesn’t like a whole lot of Filipino foods and have hard time being around them cause he can't understand any of our languages. Then after that we head to one of the Filipino couple who watch boxing a whole lot and invited some Filipinos over to have a good time and I am one of them.
Then I also went to a christening of Luis whose parents I met in the previous place we lived and it was held at the clubhouse and of course I saw the same faces most of the time and I enjoyed it as well and after that we head to the mall for some shopping.
Sasha with the birthday boy Zach...
Mga Bisdak Sasha, Zach, James(at the back), moi, Ethon, Cheriza (my kinder to Grade 4 classmate/schoolmate/batchmate) and Cielo)
Luis Christening and it was held in Appleby's Apartment where we used to lived and now it is the place where all the Filipino nurses I knew still live.
The same faces that I go with to Branson, MO
With Vivian with Baby Luis (it was his Christening this time), Minilyn they are the nurses that once my neighbor in the apartment complex where we used to lived...

We wrap up our night by buying some hiking equipments.
