Beatrice turns 6!

Beatrice turns 6 today!!!  Where did the time go, she is such a blessing to our life and a joy to have.  Around this time she loves art in any form from using the scissors, glue, doodling, paint or watercolor, a voracious reader and a great helper around the house.  She loves school so much that I hardly have a hard time to let her do some studying at home and she would even work on some worksheets I made available at home by herself.

An early birthday celebration for Beatrice.

We had an early birthday party for Beatrice's 6th birthday at Fun City in Springdale today.  We invited a few of her friends from school and one of her friend Jessie didn't make it, but their was a surprise when one of her classmate showed up the good thing is we have tons of extra food, token and loot bag, so it works fine.

Kindergarten Valentine Party

Since I'm a homeroom mom at Beatrice's class so Quentin and I are always ever present in every class party.  Today they had their Valentine party.

Crazy hair day at school

Today Beatrice wants to participate yheir crazy hair day at school and since I'm not really good on fixing hair this is the best I can come up with and she was pleased and that's what is important.

Scarecrow Making With A Kindergartner

Today we went to Beatrice's school to help some kindergarten students make scarecrow.   As usual Quentin always tags along with me and he loves going to his sister's school.

Beatrice was so happy to introduce all her classmates to us and I feel like a celebrity because all her classmates are waving and kept saying Hi, Beatrice's mom!

Beatrice is registered for Kindergarten

March 31, 2014 - Beatrice is officially enrolled for Kindergarten and she was excited. And of course her goofball brother had to be in the picture too smile emoticon And yes I was a little bit teary-eyed when I talked to the lady who processed the enrollment.

It was a bittersweet day today as we went to enroll Beatrice for Kindergarten at John Tyson Elementary, I never thought that this day will come this soon.  She did good during testing and seems excited about the whole Kindergarten thingy.  And today we had an orientation on what to expect and we took home 100 sight words list to practice during summer and a book.  

Quentin in the other hand demanded that his sister stays home with him and for her to not go to school, he feels the same way as I do.  As much as I hate to see my first baby go, I know she will enjoy it.
